About the Role

Springfield Animal Hospital is a well-established practice that seeks to add an experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician to our experienced team. We are dedicated to active learning and advanced medical procedures for the benefit of our patients, our clients, and the human-animal band they share. Top priority will be given to LVT or CVT candidates but will consider all applicants.  Requirements and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
  • Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
  • Competency in surgical and perioperative care 
  • Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
  • Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff. 
  • Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
